1. About this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Oura Marketing collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, request an Amazon Ads audit, enquire about our services or become a client.

“Oura Marketing”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Oura Marketing brand and the team responsible for operating this website and providing the services described here. For applicable data-protection purposes, Oura Marketing is responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy unless we state otherwise.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website and our managed marketing, marketplace and Amazon advertising services. A separate client agreement or data-processing agreement may apply when we process information on behalf of a client. If there is a conflict, the applicable signed agreement will govern that client engagement to the extent permitted by law.

2. Personal data we may collect

We collect only the information reasonably required to operate our website, respond to enquiries, deliver agreed services and meet our legal and security obligations. The categories may include:

  • Contact information, such as your name, work email address, telephone number and preferred communication method.
  • Business information, such as company name, job title, business website, Amazon storefront URL, marketplace, product category and approximate advertising-spend range.
  • Enquiry and correspondence information, including messages, project requirements, proposals, meeting notes, support requests and feedback.
  • Client and billing information, such as business address, invoicing details, contracts, payment status and transaction records.
  • Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, approximate location, timestamps, cookie identifiers and diagnostic logs.
  • Marketing preferences, including whether you have requested, consented to or opted out of promotional communications.
  • Security and compliance information, including access logs, authorization records, consent records, suspected misuse reports and information needed to investigate a privacy or security incident.

3. Amazon advertising and marketplace data

When a client appoints us to provide Amazon advertising or marketplace services, we may access data made available through the client’s authorized Amazon account permissions, advertising console, reports or approved application integrations. Depending on the agreed scope, this may include:

  • advertising profiles, account identifiers and marketplace information;
  • campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, placements, bids and budgets;
  • advertising performance, search-term, advertised-product and purchased-product reports;
  • product identifiers, product listings, Brand Store information and retail-readiness information;
  • authorized user, access and change-history information; and
  • other Amazon advertising data required to perform the specific contracted service.

We do not ask clients to provide their Amazon password. Clients should grant access using Amazon’s approved user-permission and authorization methods. We use Amazon advertising data only for the authorized client engagement, subject to the client agreement, Amazon’s applicable terms and policies, and applicable law. We do not sell Amazon advertising data or make it publicly available.

4. How we collect personal data

We may collect personal data:

  • directly from you when you complete a form, email us, call us, arrange a meeting or sign an agreement;
  • from your employer, colleague or authorized representative;
  • through your use of our website and permitted cookies or analytics tools;
  • from advertising and marketplace platforms when you or the relevant account owner authorizes access;
  • from publicly available business sources, such as company websites, professional profiles and public marketplace listings; and
  • from service providers that support our website, communications, customer management, security, analytics or payment administration.

5. Why we use personal data

Subject to applicable law, we may use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide requested information;
  • assess whether our services are suitable for your business;
  • prepare proposals, statements of work and contracts;
  • provide, administer and improve our marketing, marketplace and Amazon advertising services;
  • manage campaigns, reporting, account access and client communications;
  • process invoices, payments and business records;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website and systems;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access and other security incidents;
  • send service communications and, where permitted, relevant marketing communications;
  • maintain consent, authorization and compliance records;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and platform requirements.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, our processing may be based on your consent, steps requested before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of rights and security, or our legitimate business interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to provide essential functionality, remember preferences, understand website performance and improve the user experience. Some cookies are necessary for the website to operate. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should be used only in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

Where a cookie banner or preference centre is available, you can use it to manage non-essential cookies. You can also adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality.

7. When we share information

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose limited information only where reasonably necessary to:

  • authorized employees, contractors and professional advisers who require access for their work and are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations;
  • website hosting, form-processing, email, CRM, cloud-storage, analytics, cybersecurity, accounting and payment providers;
  • Amazon and other advertising or marketplace platforms when required to provide an authorized service;
  • a prospective purchaser, successor or adviser in connection with a genuine business restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections;
  • government, regulatory, judicial or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is legally required; or
  • other parties where you have instructed us or given valid consent.

We require service providers to handle information only for authorized purposes and with safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and service.

8. International data transfers

Some service providers or advertising platforms may process information in different countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we will take measures required by applicable law, which may include assessing the destination, using contractual protections, limiting the data transferred and applying suitable technical and organizational safeguards.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, account administration, security, dispute resolution and legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Retention periods depend on the nature of the information, the client relationship, legal requirements and platform obligations.

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize or securely restrict it, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law. Client advertising data will be deleted or returned in accordance with the applicable client agreement, platform requirements and lawful retention obligations.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational and technical measures designed to protect information against accidental loss, unauthorized access, misuse, alteration and disclosure. These measures may include access controls, least-privilege permissions, confidentiality obligations, secure authentication, device and account protections, backups, logging and incident-response procedures, as appropriate to our operations.

No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your own devices, email accounts and platform credentials secure and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access related to our services.

11. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about how your personal data is processed;
  • request access to or a copy of your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of personal data in applicable circumstances;
  • request restriction or cessation of certain processing;
  • object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing;
  • request transfer of eligible personal data in a structured and machine-readable form;
  • raise a concern about decisions based solely on automated processing where applicable; and
  • submit a complaint to the competent data-protection authority, where applicable.

To submit a request, email privacy@ouramarketing.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. Rights are not absolute, and we may retain or withhold information where permitted or required by law. We will explain our response where appropriate.

12. Marketing communications

We may send business-related marketing communications where you have requested them, consented to them or where otherwise permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the communication or by emailing privacy@ouramarketing.com. We may still send non-promotional messages relating to an active enquiry, contract, account, invoice, security matter or legal obligation.

13. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact privacy@ouramarketing.com so that we can review and take appropriate action.

14. Third-party websites and platforms

Our website may link to Amazon and other third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices, availability or content merely because our website contains a link to them.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, vendors, legal requirements or business practices. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
